How do you picture Montana?

If I asked you to picture Montana what would that look like? How would you describe it to me? Would it look like this?

How about this?

I took both of these pictures today at Glacier National Park. This is what I thought all of Montana looked like but I was wrong. I drove hundreds of miles and all I could see were grassland and farmland. As far as the eye could see were these enormous opens spaces.

I also saw lakes and rivers.

There is so much beauty in this state beyond the mountains. Every one should check it out.
