Experimenting
Last night I decided to have some fun with light trails. The sun had set. I got my camera set up with a beautiful rock formation and a road with a nice curve. My goal was to use a slow shutter speed to get the headlights or taillights of a car streaking through the image. I had everything set up and I waited and I waited and I waited some more. I had one car come through in like an hour. I truly couldn’t stop laughing at myself. There isn’t a ton of traffic on this road during the day but there is almost no traffic at night apparently. So what is a photographer to do? Set up again tonight and hope more cars come along. Enjoy your evening, I know I will.
